• St John’s CofE Academy at the Bishop’s Garden Party

  Pupils from St John’s CofE Academy were invited to sing at the Bishop’s Garden Party this week. The children and their parents had a lovely time and were able to enjoy the hospitality including ice lollies for the children in the Bishop’s garden afterwards.

   

  

• Spring Watch at St Oswald's!

  Since returning after May half term, we have had our very own version of Spring Watch right here in school. A blackbird family had made a nest in our Nursery outdoor shelter and over half term four chicks hatched.

  It has been absolutely amazing for the children to witness first hand the development of the chicks and to see how quickly they have grown.

  We are absolutely delighted to let you know that all four chicks have successfully fledged this week.

   

  

• Good news from Leamington Hastings CofE Academy.

  Rose Queen Day – Sat 9th June

  Message from Friends of Leamington Hastings:

   

  'Thank you so much for your support at Rose Queen Day, which we hope you enjoyed as much as we did. We are delighted to be able to tell you that we raised £901.46! The plan is to spend this on new playground equipment for the children to use and we will keep you updated.'

   

  A fitting celebration as...

   

  Leamington Hastings CofE Academy was judged as ‘continuing to be good’ following an Ofsted Inspection carried out on 17th May 2018. The inspector writes: ‘… there is a strong sense of purpose in the school, pupils are taught well and outcomes are improving.’ And ‘Because of the caring ethos of the school and its pleasant atmosphere, pupils’ attitudes to learning are positive and lesson time is used productively.’

• Making Tracks on 25th May 2018...!

  Children at St Oswald's all sing and produce CD!

  ...the children became singing stars for the day as we welcomed Tracks in to school. All of the children had the opportunity to take part and there is currently a CD in production.

  We can’t wait to hear the finished results and once ready, the CD will be available to purchase. We will keep you informed.
